43:xix A new thing - Such a piece of work as was never yet done in the globe. Now - The scripture often speaks of things at a bully distance of time, as if they were at present at mitt; to brand usa sensible of the inconsiderableness of time, and all temporal things, in comparison of God, and eternal things; upon which business relationship it is said, that a one thousand years are in God'southward sight merely as one day.
